Ahooga Bike

The company

Ahooga is a Belgian brand of electric bikes.

These innovative, lightweight and foldable bikes have made Ahooga a benchmark in city cycling.

Adding to the trend of recent years, the Belgian brand has grown very quickly.

Their needs

As a victim of this rapid growth, Ahooga was forced to adapt quickly to meet market demand. They therefore opted for different and easy to implement vertical solutions for each process:
Shopify for eCommerce, Monday for scheduling, Freshdesk for ticketing, independent accounting...

The objective of the Odoo implementation project was therefore to centralise flows in a single database and thus process this data.

The solution

1.  B2C Sales

  • On the one hand, in-store sales are made via the Point Of Sales module for available bikes and accessories.

  • On the other hand, web orders and pre-orders for bicycles are made via the Sales module because the logistics operations are triggered there.

2.  B2B Sales

An eCommerce site has been created with Odoo. It gives access to Ahooga's reseller shops by granting them the appropriate price discounts. In addition, a quote is automatically generated in Odoo when a reseller places an order.

3. Repairs management

Although the Repair module exists in Odoo, it is the Field Service module that has been chosen to manage the repair flow (after sales). 

There are two reasons for this choice: 

- The application offers a very intuitive interface for operators/mechanics to create a quote for each repair.

- The creation of tasks from the Field Service module is done via the Project module. The advantage of this is that you can set up steps that automatically trigger emails and SMS to the customer.

4. Accounting is fully integrated in Odoo.

With the new features offered by the Spreadsheets integration in Odoo V15, it is now possible to create even more elaborate reporting tables.

5. Logistics management

The logistical operations generated by bicycle sales are very different from one type of bicycle to another. This required a very structured and methodical knowledge and configuration of the Odoo logistics routes.

As with most Odoo projects, the use of the barcode module greatly assists operators in the field. Indeed, it provides a hyper simplified and intuitive interface for managing stock movements. But also the opportunity to use a scanner or a mobile phone to transfer items from one location to another.
